Terms of Service

These terms govern your purchase and use of CiteSight products (the "Product") from CiteSight — the downloadable kits (Starter, Agency) and the CiteSight web platform (Professional, Pro AI subscriptions). By purchasing or creating an account, you agree to them.

1. The Product

The kits are digital downloads: a spreadsheet workbook, PDF playbook, technical fix pack, roadmap/action plan, and — in the Agency Kit — white-label Word templates, plus 12 months of updates delivered by email. The platform is a web application that runs automated AI-visibility audits on domains you register, subject to the limits of your subscription plan.

2. License — Starter Kit

  • Use the Product for one (1) business entity that you own or are employed by.
  • Make internal copies for your team within that business.
  • You may not resell, redistribute, publish, or share the Product or derivatives outside that business.

3. License — Agency Kit

  • Use the Product for unlimited client engagements within one agency/consultancy.
  • Rebrand the workbook and report/proposal templates and deliver them to clients as part of paid services (white-label).
  • Clients receive usage rights for their own business; you may not sell or give away the Product as a standalone, resalable asset.
  • You may not resell, sublicense or redistribute the Product itself in any tier.

4. Subscriptions & trials

  • Professional and Pro AI are recurring subscriptions billed monthly or yearly via the payment provider shown at checkout; cancel anytime and access continues to the end of the paid period.
  • New accounts include a 14-day free trial of Professional features. No card is required for the trial; when it ends, the account reverts to the free tier — nothing is charged automatically.
  • Plan limits (sites, competitors, prompts, seats) are stated on the Pricing page and enforced in the app.
  • You may only submit domains you own or are authorized to audit; audits fetch publicly accessible pages only.

5. Payments & delivery

Prices are in USD and shown before checkout. Kit delivery is digital, by email, immediately after payment via Gumroad, Stripe or PayPal. Platform access begins at signup (trial) or upon subscription activation. You're responsible for providing a working email address. Taxes (VAT/GST/sales tax) may be added by the payment provider where required by law.

6. Refunds

Covered by our Refund Policy: 30 days, full refund, no questions asked.

7. No outcome guarantees

The Product is a measurement and execution system. AI platforms (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot, Google AI Overviews) are operated by third parties and change constantly; we do not and cannot guarantee specific placements, citations, rankings, traffic or revenue. We guarantee the quality of the system and support as described.

8. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Product lawfully — including, when executing its playbooks, respecting the terms of third-party platforms (review sites, Reddit, forums) and applicable marketing, privacy and anti-spam laws. You may not attempt to disrupt the platform, access other customers' data, or use the audit engine against domains you have no authorization for.

9. Intellectual property

The Product, brand, and content remain the property of CiteSight. Your license grants the usage rights above; it does not transfer ownership.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Product is limited to the amount you paid for it in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
